recently, a good friend has pushed me into running. lots of it. maybe i push too hard. but anyway after a bit of running (outdoors), especially if it's on an incline, the outside of my shins hurt (sore, stabbing pain, gets worse when i walk on the ball of my feet). No question about it i have shin splints. someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong.
should i have stretched (and how to stretch that)? She says it also may be bad shoes (no cushioning). she says that because sometimes my lower back aches too after running. or am i just not running right? i spent like $180 on these POS nike air max....can someone suggest better more cushioning runners.
