Well I thought after my Buell departed I would stick with the 848evo for a bit... but I think I'm falling in love with another bike.
I find the just released 2016 Thruxton R so easy on the eyes. The specs are pretty good as well, 1200cc should provide plenty of torque and by the sounds of things should be close to the century mark for hp which is plenty. The brakes on the thing are outstanding, ohlins out back and big showa forks should more then do the job so no need to drop money upgrading there, even comes stock with Rossi Corsas. Think the only thing I'd do is slap a tidy tail on it, get rid of the stock headers with cats for the race headers and swap out the battery for a lithium ion one and see what else I can take off it to shave a lil weight, thinking I can pare it down close to 50lbs.
Anyone have any good insight on why I shouldn't pick one up?
I had a Buell, so getting parts from Triumph will seem like a breeze.
