During the spring and fall, a lot of the awesome mountain roads around don't have the greatest conditions yet. Can we start a collection of nice twisty roads that are a bit closer to home?
I can start:
This last weekend I took a trip to the Mission area (map: https://goo.gl/maps/hxX1RMJb4qq). Honestly, Wilson, Dewdney, and Stave lake roads were pretty meh. There were corners for sure, but they were in the shade, so still damp, rough, and with plenty of gravel. The real gem of the ride was Sylvester road. It was dry, smooth, clean, with lots of great corners and relatively little traffic. Did the road up and down quite a few times since it was so much fun. Took a break at the very north end of the road and found a really nice waterfall, and I also found 99 cent gas at the intersection of Sylvester and Highway 7.
Anyone have any personal favourites you can share?
