I know I don't stick my head in here as much as in the OLD days. But life's been busy, and it's tough enough to get riding time in, let alone talking about riding time.
At any rate, I just posted up the event for the 10th Annual Ride For Doug. I could really use a hand in getting word out. This is super important to Doug (now 13 years old), and I've been swamped running around to medical appointments that I'm worried that word isn't getting out.
If you have a few minutes can you do a couple things for me?
1) If you belong to any other riding groups or forums - can you pass along the info. It's all in this thread http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...th-10th-Annual. There's a printable poster on http://www.RideForDoug.com/donate-now
2) If you stop at any motorcycle shops / Wendels / other gathering points - could you print out a poster and put it up for me?
3) Think about coming. Doug loves a big ride, and the afternoon you spend riding with him gives him the strength to deal with spending a day each week at Children's Hospital. Ride with us, and make time to talk to Doug. He's as much a biker as the rest of us.
This has been a very draining year, and I really want to make sure Doug get's his big day.
