Since the other thread was super helpful, I had some more dumb questions! Thank you in advance, I humbly await your insight!
#1) Do you ride in the lane closest to oncoming traffic? I was told by a fellow rider not to do this, as you are at an increased risk of someone crossing the line and hitting you. I had always thought you wanted to do this to increase your visibility if someone is turning left oncoming. Thoughts?
#2) Do you change gears at specific RPMs, or just go by "feel"? I will admit that I have never changed at a specific RPM, rather I'll go by the sound / feel of the bike. Maybe I'm particularly stupid for doing this?
#3) Do you wear headphones / earbuds? I used to have a SENA bluetooth headset but I found it more cumbersome than anything, and the sound was kind of crappy. I like ear buds since they at least seem to block some of the noise from outside, and hopefully protect my hearing. But the loss of hearing is a double edged sword...
#4) Should tire pressure be right at the limit? I have a CBR RR and it wants 36 front, 42 rear PSI, which I will try and hit on the nose, maybe this is dumb?
#5) Where can I get my suspension setup? This is a new (to me) bike, and I'd like to get the suspension tuned, can any bike shop do this?
#6) Advice on getting a small bike trailer I can tow with my car? I'd prefer not to spend $1600 on a bike trailer, any ideas here?
