It was suggested that I post this here as a few folks thought that not everyone passes through the Tech and Mods area too often. If you're interested in a clinic to tune your suspension then have a look at THIS POST and drop a reply to indicate if you'd like to attend.
Basically you show up and sit on your bike. The team of able bodied assistants sets your static sag to suit your weight and roughly sets up your damping if it's out by much. If there are any shortcoming with the setup and it can't be adjusted properley or we find anything badly wrong then you will be informed.
This is a totally vollunteer operaton hosted by myself with a strong technical right hand support from our own CrotchetyRocket and perhaps one other techy type that's familiar with suspensions. There will be a box there for donations to this site and I'd like to see everyone put in at least $5. Just think of how much you get from this site and how much similar work would cost from a shop and please be generous.
Anyway, drop on over to the link and let me know if you'd like to attend as a customer or if you'd like to help out. I'm trying to get a head count so I have at least an idea of how many will show. No date has been set yet but I'm hoping to find a spot to do it on Saturday Aug 9. Helpers will be learning the what, how and why of setting suspensions to the basic level that we will be doing at this clinic.
