So it all started a year ago when I became the poster fall guy at the last (large) Gas Transmission company I worked for for 24yrs. I was the go to guy for trouble shooting and running projects, so when another worker caused a huge ($2mill) incident and I was the guy running the outage, well I became the scapegoat. Found a job with a small contractor doing residential electrical here in Kamloops and now exactly one year later I get offered (and accepted) a job with Fortis Gas BC in Keremeos as a CCT (computer and controls tech). Back into the gas industry which I love to work in, super close to the parents who are in Oliver, and plan on building a house in Keremeos. Looking forward to living in a great riding area too, never ridden across the border yet and that is gonna change!! life is definitely on an upward swing. Now if only Area 27 opens days up to us common folk fairly often!!
