Had my baby towed a couple weeks ago. Something smelled fishy about how fast she was taken away. Parked across the street from my work window today because I was late for work (triangle at the corner for Dunsmuir and Seymour in front of BCIT).
Looked out the window at 10:50... Buster's was there already, tow truck driver was hooking up a scooter that was parked beside me. Busted my ass down to the street and got to my ride before another truck came. Looked at the ticket... Said 10:45!!!!!! I looked around. The freak'n ticketing officer was across the street on the corner. I bitched at the tow truck guy but he just clammed up and didn't say a thing.
Sorry scooter guy.
So what's up with the triangles now. I've been parking there for a good 2-3 months before I got towed last month. Is it cuz it's riding time and they're cracking down on illegal parking (just like the pipe checking that's been going on)? Also, what's up with Buster's? Guy I talked to before said that they usually wait an hour before towing. Any ideas?
