Having ridden my old GS400 for a week I've learned that there are some nice things about these old skinny tired standards. For one thing, they turn in really easily. Those skinny tires allow the bike to tip into a turn with almost no effort. I'm still able to hang off the bike, but you do feel a bit like a spinnaker when doing it.
The fact that I've enjoyed riding it more than my VFR has had me thinking that maybe I should be shopping for a new standard.
Here's a list of the ones I can think of - please add to it if I've forgotten some. I'm focussing on the lighter, smaller bikes as that's my preference.
If you can recommend any of these or some other bikes that would be fine. Please keep in mind my 28" inseam. I can't ride dirt bikes, V-Strom, etc.
