I learned something new about my bike today.
Going straight, I accelerated moderately up to 80 km/h, then chopped the throttle, took my hands off the bars, sat up, and coasted a bit. After a second I noticed my bars started wiggling back and forth, just a little, then slowly more. Well, that freaked me a little and I immediately grabbed the bars!
Interesting... I was able to duplicate this situation when releasing the bars going 60-80 km/h, but not so much at slower speeds.
What could cause this? Tires? Suspension? Weight transfer (upon deceleration)? Bumpy road?
The wiggles started small and were getting bigger, but there was not a lot of "kickback" or "pressure" when I grabbed the bars to stop the shakes.
Any other FZ1 riders out there experience this? Or do all bikes do this?
