    How much horsepower?

Okay... I've spent like the last hour tryin' to find specs and stuff but have had like zero luck...

Main objective: How much horsepower does a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R have? Not the Euro-spec 636 ones. I want a rough idea of what my bike should have... I think my Yoshimura slip-on would add a couple... but yeah, I know the best way to find out would be to do a dyno, but I just want a rough idea right now...

Secondary objectives: How does that compare to some of the other bikes, like the 2003 636 or 2003 CBR600RR?

I think I found that the 2003 636 makes about 107-108HP at the wheel?

Most of the modern 600s make about 100HP at the wheel. +/- 5%. Usually -5% The slip on will not necesserily add power. Afaik zx6r is still carbed, so you'll need to do some rejetting to take advantage of the new exhaust.

Someone who knows more can correct me

expect around 94HP outta that zx6r. Most new 600s now are pushing the 100hp mark.

my october 2003 sport rider has the zx-6r rated at 107.5 "corrected" hp on their dyno.

they say a stock 2002 is rated at 95, but they put on an akro pipe, ivan's jet kit and an ignition advancer, and got 104.7.

(BTW, the 636 is fuel injected, the 2002 is carbs)

My 2002 ZX6R made 100 hp on the nose with jetting and a yoshimura can.
My 636 has an Akra pipe and Techlusion box, I'm guessing it makes roughly 110 or so, maybe a little less.
Stock the '02 6R was tagged by the mag's as being anywhere from 93-99 rwhp I believe.

give me a buzz and run it on the Dynojet Dyno I have.

also use the air fuel meter to get it all up and online.

No guessing what it should be..... shows what it is.

that is why i got my unit all made.

just an idea to help you out.

sport rider's dyno gave these numbers for the '03s

    cbr600rr - 107.2
    zx6-r - 107.5

    cycleworld gave these

    cbr600rr - 103.5
    zx6-r - 103.8

not sure how you'll be able to compare that your bike (different dyno and different day = different numbers)

Boys, this is money WELL spent with Graham. You will have a very dialed bike after he's done with it.
