Re: Your motorcycle!
To whom it may concern
Over the past number of months I have been awoken at around 6:45am every weekday by the roar of a rider over revving his motorbike. I as well as a number of residents have had enough. If you do not start to have some change in the way you respect - OR should I say DISRESPECT your neighbors we will take matters into our own hands.
I don't know where you work but be do know where you like and I am sure it is harder to get there on foot than it is on your motorbike!
Neighbors who are 'fucking' fed up
PS. I will be passsing your address around to other builidings int he West End so they know who the disrespectful rider is - then they can also forward complaints to you and the police.
END OF LETTER - note how the coward didn't even sign it?!
This is just insane....last year we went through general neighbourhood harrassment including police showing up at all hours of the morning, demands for noise inspections (muzzy was repacked - total cost over $150) and the police even going to the extreme of casing out my partner's route to work to harrass him before he even left downtown - no tickets - just harassment... and then there were a series of "BikerBoy' Rant letters to the editor published in the Westender who also published our general address, the licence plate number on the bike and description of the bike (they did not bother to publish our response saying all noise levels had been checked and all were well within legal limits), I have been accosted at Safeway, in the Laundry room etc. It is just crazy. People threaten, swear and are generally rude.....
Now I will say this the bike a Kawi1100 is loud but he is cautious about how long and how loud he revs it. He tries - but he does have to go to work. Parking underground is not an option so we are, to say the least, exposed. My little Ninja 250 has caused no one any problems - but when I upgrade I'm sure I'm up for about the same....
Needless to say...I want alarms...any suggestions?
