Ok, here's the case
2003 KAWASAKI ZX6R 636,
All damages are cosmetic (ferring & paint job)
So I called the guy, price is correct, the damage is to right side of bike, the only thing he doesn't mention in his ad is the rear subframe being bent.
He says damages are about 2500 worth
Before someone jumps on me and says buy an older bike in better condition for that much.
This seems like a good deal to me, brand new engine, new tech, etc.
My question is this, if I look at the bike and have it inspected to make sure the frame is true/straight, and it checks out, would it be worth it for me to buy a subframe and replace it myself ?.
I am not at all concerned about cosmetics, seriously, I don't care, that can be taken care of in time if anything, and i'm sure I'll drop the bike anyways :P
Just asking what all of your opinions are ?
