WTF? HUH? Lights will change to green anyway if you park your bike over the coil. You can see the cut-outs in the road. If your bike doesn't trigger the coil, call the city. I have friend who does these and they either need to be calibrated or replaced. If the light won't change and you're on top of it put your stand out....if that still does't do it call the city to replace the coil.

On a motard most of the bike's mass may be too high off the ground. I could see it being a problem. For the average sportbike, you shouldn't need to worry about it.

Ya, how does it work? Is there a switch, or do you need to place it somewhere on the bike to trigger the coil?

LoL everyone is confused so I will clear it up.
In most street lights, there is a sensor that can see bright colors from ambulances, and fire trucks and police, and it can be triggered to change the light in the drivers favor.

I thought this would be illegal?

well first of all... the sensors dont sense weight.. they sense metal... they are a magnet that senses the electric charge on the car... these activators just send out a charge that sets it off.. thats all
