    Bandit 400's

Anyone here have a bandit 400? They look like really fun bike's to learn on...I have a buddy and he wants to learn how to ride and this bike looks to be a good beginner's bike.

What price are they going for? I've seen some pretty tricked out ones..with inverted forks and GSXR this possible without putting a lot of coin into em? Any common issues to look out for? Any other comments would be appreciated...thanks everyone.

Avoid buying any small (>600cc) bike more than 10 years old, regardless of mileage. (unless it's a classic, and you want to restore it) Also, avoid bikes that are rare, since finding parts might be difficult.
