    bad, m'kay?

Nearly had a head-on coll. this evening

I was coming home from my regular ride to Earl Cove and nearly got squashed by a cager in Roberts Creek.

I was at the end of a straight away (just past Sunshine Coast Golf Club) and was slowing down for the uphill right hander when a cager tried to pass coming the other way. His car was 2/3rd into my lane when he realized that I was there!

Good thing I slowed down and did not go wide before the turn - I would have ended up as a hood ornament. I only had about 3 to 4 feet to avoid being ran over.

He was in the middle of a long train of cars coming off the 7:25 ferry. Probably in a hurry to get to his weekend cabin.

    Stupid cager-tourist!
"It's not my fault your slow!"

PPL are stupid!!! They all forget that when passing in a corner you are blind to what is around it, be it a motorcyclist or a 18 wheel semi. Does it not make common sense to pass on the straights?
