I guess because I've done this about five times.

I can't remember for sure, but I think I counted 5 the first time I tried... must have missed one of the OF's.

8. ya, i remember this, most people miss the "of"' 's for some reason....

9. It is very much a language thing. I found it interesting that I missed the "OF", because all my french friends got all the f's. I guess I am an assimilated french guy.

Yes, because in English, "of" is not an important word... as in it's somethin' that's so common in sentences that we can just gloss over it without missing a beat in the context of the sentence... but for French people, "of" is not that way for them... it's still a "foreign" word to them like many other English words, so their eyes don't fly past it like ours do...

Hmm... actually, that means the people who miss the F's in the OF's are better readers.

13. Actually there are no f's in" Read this sentence", however if it had read "Read the following sentence (and find how many f's are in it)" I would agree with six. I really thoght this was a trick question at first!
