It's 5:26 am right now. I just got back home from dropping off my gf at work in downtown. On my way back home, on Georgia St. a few blocks before the viaduct, I see a fire truck, a few ambulances, and police cars. I was like shitty deal....another accident.
Drive up closer to the scene....I see, in the middle of the road, an older style van with the front end smashed in. Didn't look too bad. Then on the left I saw a newer style silver Celica. And that car is totally messed up. Write off for sure. It was over the curb and front end smashed into a pole. Also the rear end was totally smashed in and the passenger side was also totally smashed in. Couldn't see if there was damage on the driver side. I wonder what happened. Got rear ended, spun around and somehow managed to get damage to passenger side and then up the curb and into the pole? Maybe there was another vehicle involved but I couldn't see one because of the ambulances parked everywhere. Anyone else have guesses? I hope no one was seriously hurt.
Everyone should take extra caution on the road with this pissing rain. Even if there aren't many cars on the road. Drive/Ride safe!
