Question Long distance and local air time?

I just got my bill from telus, they charged me both long distance and local air time for calls to my gf in victoria, is this right? Sure as hell seems wrong to me!

Well, it all depends on your contract/service plan, but for me my air time is seperate from my long distance. I'm with Telus (Clearnet).

So if I'm over my monthly airtime minutes and i make a long distance call, I get charged $0.20/per minute airtime AND $0.20 for the long distance. That's $0.40/minute! Ouch!
