Work or not?
View inside of the helmet.
Now Reevu is bringing the benefits of its revolutionary rear view technology to the world of motorsports
For the past year Reevu’s rear view technology has taken the Sports and Leisure industry by storm – creating a new benchmark in preventative safety on roads in all five continents around the world.
Now buyers of motorbike helmets can access that same life-saving technology.
From Winter 2003 the amazing Reevu MSX1 motorbike helmet will be available for distribution. Years of development plus leading edge design skills have created a helmet that not only looks cool but also has amazing aerodynamics whilst meeting and exceeding the most rigorous safety and construction standards.
A stunning package that looks great and dramatically increases awareness of traffic conditions behind the motorcyclist due to Reevu’s rear view technology.
It is an unbeatable combination and will be available from stockists near you soon.
if they really wanted to expand ,they would make this an ADD ON feature to an existing helmet ,,maybe change the visor and attach mirror system ,it could possibly be used in racing .or ditching cops ,,just as good i guess
I agree with borderline, but too bad the rearview is already part of the whole helmet. It would be tough to just have an "add on" part.
I think it's cool, but that would be too distracting for me to have something there all the time. I would confuse myself.
If I imagine myself wearing that helmet, it will take some adjustment to get used to having the view turn with me whenever I turn my head. But I guess once you pass this period, things are gonna be okay.
I'd say it's a nice product.
It's illogical to think they could make an add on rear view mirror for existing helmets. Aerodynamic and not to mention structural integrity of the helmet would go to shit.
why ,, if you check thier website the entire rear view set-up is in the top raised part of the helmet .
if you put that raised section as a glue on attachement it would be like adding a wing or fin ,then the interior mirror part can be fixed to the visor ,I'll make one myself and show you it 's not that hard ,it's .Put a mirror behind your head relected against one facing rear ,then reflected to a mirrior above your head then in front of your eyes and you will see behind you . try it i already did
