I was in a mild accident in April. %100 the other persons fault (he turned left into the side of me in traffic... ass).
So they replaced all the scratched parts and the radiator and I was off on the road again. Near the middle of the season I could feel pulsating in the brakes. i thought it was just a caliper problem and left it until the end of the season (winterizing at shop) to get them to look/fix it.
Turns out, my rim was ever so slightly warped. They called ICBC and they said to get it "straightened". Now anyone who took grade 8 metal shop knows that once you bend metal you cant BEND it back and have it retain the same structural integrity.
I wrote and complained to my adjuster and he said that ICBC would have no problem replacing the entire rim if I could drum up some letter from the manufacturer admonishing riding on a bent rim.
My question is... WHO MAKES RIMS?? And if possible, who makes Rims for HOnda F4I's? I'd just like to email a representative from any rim manufacturing company to get their response to the above problem..
Otherwise Im stuck on what I feel is a flimsy rim.
