Removing battery on '02 F4i to trickle charge it. Have to remove the 2 bolts anchoring the front seat down. One of them is being %*&^!@*! stubborn
Basically I think the threads are caught somewhere. The bolt is halfway out. But I can't screw it back in or screw it out any further. Just rotates and moves up and down on the threads... up a little, down a little, up a little, etc....
I think the shaft of the bolt is slightly bent as it wobbles when rotating.
How the heck do I take it out? Should I just yank on it? Will that destroy the bolt housing?
I've tried wd40 to see if that will loosen the shaft but nothing.... I even removed the undertail to get better leverage while reefing on it... nothing.
P.S. I think it was the guy who installed my alarm who messed it up. I've never removed my front seat before.
