Just a quick question.
I was going to find a specific networks forum online somewhere to pose this query, but it seems like there probably is an obvious solution to this that I am overlooking.
I have a home network with a win98 PC and a winXP PC.
I have an Internal Telus ADSL modem installed in the XP machine and it acts as the gateway.
The internet on both machines works great. We are also able to play LAN games.
So why cannot I see the other computer in "network neighbourhood" on the win98 machine and vice versa?
Neither machine cannot gain access to each others files.
I have enabled all file/pinter sharing.
I have shared folders
I have run the various XP wizards to no avail.
I have removed and reinstalled the network card drivers
I have looked for updated drivers online but thus far have found none.
