It's great to finally see some high resolution pictures of the "red planet" up close. In the picture we can see the orange/red sand, orange/grey rocks, and the orange sky.
Hold on a second...... ORANGE SKY????
If you were standing on the surface of the planet, looking up, wouldn't the sky seem blue? I realize there might be a lot of orange dust particles in the air, but still.....
Are there any geologist/meteorologist/science people who would know the answer.
(or could there be another reason)
