this is from an r1 forum so lets assume they wouldn't slam thier own bike ,,shitty for those who thought the r1 would be king,plus it's ugly .
I say the zx10r will outsell all the new liter bikes ,and outrun em .
first claimed dyno #'s of the 2004 R1 are out.

The thing about that is more odd is the fact that suzuki already has 153 rear wheel stock. That means that the suzuki GSXR1000 is lighter than the new r1 (In dry weight) and produces more horsepower. Assuming the dyno is real.
This looks good for kawasaki since we already know it has 84 ft pounds of torque, and has kawasaki VP's on the record as saying the 10R should put no less than 158 rear wheel horsepower up to 162. Now if thats true, in the superstock class that is going to give the 10R a gigantic advantage, especally if the power band is so smooth and flawless like the testers claim."
158 with a full system ,,the old gixxer(not that old) has 153 stock so i'll assume around 160 witha syatem ,more witha commander blah blah ,,these new litre bikes wil prob get around 170+ with a bunch of reasonably cheap go fast goodiesd ,,yikes ! I can't even use what i have now let alone an extra 40-60 hp .They should call em squid coffins ,that's what i'll be callin em
