OK, I need some input. Its time so shed some misconceptions and old knowledge. Its too easy to become stale in a gym after doing this for so many years (10).
Is it better to keep body parts that are going to be burned together in a workout?
back and biceps (use bi for pulling motions)
pecs and triceps (use tri for pushing motions)
legs and calves
shoulders - abs - any part ive forgotten - cardio
I was also told that Calf muscles and Abs like to have high reps, apparently they are a different kind of fiber (fast twitch or slow cant remeber) and supposedly respond better high reps.
For Calves, I dont buy this, as I have been going lower reps lately and I have found it to be a much better workout.
For Abs, is it also prudent to work them out at multiple sessions?
(eg: day 1 and 3)
What do you guys do?
