Whoa! I remember that one, its listed on the WMRRA site as well in the January Classifieds
For Sale: 1999 Ducati 748 Club Racer
This bike had 10k street miles before it was turned into a club racer.
Fresh top end (rockers good) at 9.5k miles. The novice who meant to race
this bike in 2003 did the WMRRA new rider clinic, 1/2 of a trackday in
Portland and 1/2 of a NESBA trackday in Seattle. Zero actual race time.
This bike was prepped in March '03 with: new PVM magnesium wheels,
Ferracci billet rearsets, aluminum subframe, under tank foam air filter,
DID gold chain (520), alloy sprockets, GP Suspension (Dave Hodges)
resprung and revalved suspension (forks and shock, Showa) for a 175 lb
rider, EBC HH sintered pads, Arrow exhaust with appropriate EPROM chip,
fresh Barnett clutch pack, Ducati Performance adjustable steering
dampener, Ferracci tall windscreen. Pirelli Supercorsa tires with
perhaps 10 laps on them. Mechanically the bike is very tight and solid.
The frame, swingarm, etc. have never been damaged or needed repair for
any reason. Cosmetically it looks like hell. Unpainted Hotbodies
bodywork with a silver tail section of unknown origin. Yellow petrol
tank in good shape with one scrape on the left side. The bike is totally
serviceable as it sits but, again, is not the prettiest. Clear WA title
with no salvage history. No street parts included. For what its worth,
Kev (Goatboy) hopped on the bike for 3 laps during the NRC and
    immediately did a 1:33.
    First $7k takes it.
    Contact kiesan at 206-369-4879 or
    kiesan AT

He only wanted $7000US for it, dang! And its got a clear WA title.

sweet... if only you could get a special 2 for 1 deal with the ferrari in the back by just covering the cost of the bike. just joking. sweet bike though.

So very nice. I want the Ferrari more than the Duc though.

looks like it was sold for $5,500 USD...with today's rate, that's approximately $7,307 CDN. i think that sounds like a really good deal, doesn't it? (and it reads that the reserve has been met too).
