After listening to everyone's input (thanks!) I looked around some more regarding private insurance. I thought Megson was the best deal around until today. Coast has a $500 deductable and they will "top up" liability. Megson does not do any 3rd party liability and their deductable is $1000. Total for one year insurance:
Megson- $568. + (ICBC 3rd party liability @ 2 million = $638.) =$1206.
Coast- $551. (with 2mill 3rd party liability) + ICBC basic $549. = $1100.
Both are for the same value. Megson offers 1 free accident if no other vehicles are involved.
My questions are does any one of the two offer more services than the other?
Do you think the "possibility" of a free accident is worth the $106. and another $500. for the deductable. Cheers S.
