Well, it's been a long winter of doing anything but studying and my bike is finished and on the road again. I traded off one of my polished wheels and had to do another front. My hands will never forgive me! I logged my hours this time and it took 25 hours for the wheel start to finish. Not fun but o' so shiney; well worth it I guess. I definitely have to touch up the back wheel and the frame to match. I'm now running 15/49 gearing, accelleration is insane. I can finally change my own tires too so I can burn up all my take offs. Lotsa fun!
Everything on the bike, cosmetic wise, is from guys on the board here!
rshope81's undertail is on there and works and looks great. The rear signals are integrated. Fronts are pending, I'm still waiting for a set of LED's that I'm going to put along the leading edges of the upper fairing ahead of the gsxr logo.
A big thanks to Borderline Custom Cycles. He was responsible for frenching in those PIAA headlights and did an excellent job. It's one of a kind and exactly what I wanted but couldn't handle the job myself. It was so good that I had to pay the guy extra (my choice)! That kind of work is well worth it. It looks and fits like it's supposed to be like that. The big bonus is all I need is some heavy vinyl to cover up the holes, pull the lights, change the tail and I'm race ready instead of changing up stock bodywork all the time.
Hehe, the only good pic that I have of the tail is when the dumbass thief was riding it but I get a laugh out of this pic anyway.
