    My A$$ hurts... (aftermarket seats?)

I just got back on the road on Saturday, after a few hundred K's my buttock are really hurtin ma!

I remember on that bubble tea night ride we had last year someone had a pretty comfy aftermarket seat...

Whats the best? Affordable? Can you stuff what you have?

I plan on some long journeys this summer, would be nice not to ache after a few hours.

    Thanks!

You might want try tinkering with your rear suspension a little before paying $$$ for a fancy seat. Some people also use padded bicycle shorts underneath thier leathers. Better to try the free stuff first before paying for a solution.

    I wish.
The gel's apparently work well. Having owned a Honda (I assume you are on a Honda?) I know exactly what you are talking about.

I have a honda and the seat is super comfy, maybe you should try taking your seat out too

    WOW... dope ride..

ya that's who it was... Darknight...

    Corbin seats...

I understand the whole "not getting comfortable" kick... but I'm not too interested. I rode my father's goldwing on the weekend and you could take that thing for DAYS w/o a sore ass. I'm not a racer, just a weekend warrior.

Will try to tickle with my suspension a bit (clinic hopefully).

Who else besides Corbin sells seats?

I don't know of anyone else other than Corbin.
My seat's pretty comfy, but I own an older Honda.

Sparring speed is a matter of simple physics:
The height of your flight is inversely proportionate to the mass of your ass.

I'd seriously consider the gel route, I've heard lots of people have had success with them and they are a lot cheaper than a corbin, plus they look stock. If my RC-51 didn't get stolen, it was my next 'upgrade'.

how do you start with the "gel route". Is it a cover that goes overtop or something you insert under the pleather? Do they have them for the rear rider too?

I think i might just fork over the money for Corbin set.

the whole set... retails CDN for $1100...

I can buy it from Corbin for $557 US online... (this is direct, not from a cheap distributor).

Why is there such a damn discrepancy? Anyone know a local shop that will part with the trio (backrest too) for $750?
