Anybody ever use Vemar helmets? I'm really liking the look of the VSX line in all black and their emphasis on weight. Let me know if you've had any experience with them.

I've had one for about 7 years. Bought it in England. It came with the 'British Motorcycle Sport' approval rating which I understand is a pretty high standard (or was, anyhow)

Its retired now and pretty packed out, but it was a good helmet over the years. Never really crash tested it, though.

    Good value, I'd say.

I have the VSR gloss black, it came with a dark tinted visor and does it ever look sweet. It's super light and very stable at highway speeds. A little noisy above 100kms/hr but nothing ear plugs cant fix. I like it because its original and overall I give it a 9 out of 10 because of the noise and the fact that replacement parts such as visors are expensive and hard to come by. If I was to buy another helmet I would get another VEMAR. I think its the best helmet I've ever had.
