i've got a 98 kawi zx7r, yosh slip-on pipe. The yosh has been on the bike for the past 5 years, now the bike has over 30,000kms on it. Last year it started backfiring a little, the only noticible time it was backfiring was when I blip the throttle to downshift, it only happens once in a while though.
Is that a clear indication that I should get a jet kit for the bike or should I get the carbs synchronized?
I haven't tried spraying any carb cleaner in the carbs to see if that works cuz a friend told me that stuff isn't good for bike carbs.
Or does this backfiring mean that the bike is running too lean or too rich?
