It's alright. I think it happens to everybody. This is my 8th season of riding and I just got back from a late night ride. Near the end of the ride when we were just about to call it a night I sorta zoned out and ran right through a red light.

A few months ago I was standing beside my bike, pushing it. When I went to lower it back on it's side stand, it wasn't properly extended, and I came really close to dropping it. Luckily my wife was standing nearby, and helped me lift my bike from just a few inches off the ground.
Every day I break my previous record of consecutive days still alive.

I almost dropped it in the undergound when I went to use my pass card. Put the kickstand down and as I lowered the bike to it's side I heard "click" as the stand popped back up...Uh oh.. Caught it just in time before it smashed into the cement pole beside me. lol..made sure to have another coffee when I got to work

i had my bike roll away from me once on a slight incline when i took it off the track stand. the kick stand was down but it moved forward enough to bounce off it and it flicked up and crash it went. couple scratches and a red face.
That that doesn't kill us forces us to live with a busted up bike!!

i left my bike parked on the asphalt at work last summer on a hot day. when i came out at the end of the day the kickstand had sunk into the asphalt and my bike was leaning WAY over.. another half hour and i'm sure it would have been on the deck.. that was a good lesson to learn w/o paying for it!

I haven't dropped my bike since 1990, and now I'm going to go knock on some wood.

20 years ago....remember it like yesterday! I stopped at a light with my KZ650 thinking I looked pretty cool with my Yosh pipe and tricked out bike I go to put my left foot down and OH SHIT it won't go! My running shoe lace was looped around my shifter. I went down hard. When I picked myself up the car behind me was rocking with laughter...VERY embarrasing!
