    Shipping taxes

I know that you have to pay taxes and duties if u ship something from the States to Canada.

But what if you were to ship something from one province to another?
    eg. Toronto to Vancouver?

To bypass this, would it be smarter to get the item shipped to the States from Canada, then pick it up and smuggle it accross the border?

    Thanks in advance,

No taxes and duties from province to province. If you order from another province, I believe that you'll escape the PST as well.

Shipping from province to province via the USA is not a good idea.

yeah no duties. i think you may have to pay the provincial tax on the product though. i ship alot of stuff from a company in Ontario to here and i pay their provincial tax but that's it. going Can to US to Can would be costly due to the extra shipping charges and if you get caught at the border trying to smuggle in...............lets not even go there!!
That that doesn't kill us forces us to live with a busted up bike!!
