First off , I would like to say a big THANKYOU to John (the rainman) Rainen, for all the time and $ he spent on getting the Penticton Speedway Supermotard track up and running for this past weekend. Secondly, A big thanks to the guy's & gal's that came out, Jayson from Kamloops, Orville from Vernon, Trevor Berstyk and Geo Acchione from the lower mainland. It was a bit of a challenge at first,as it always is when your trying something completly new. The Penticton Hearold photographer was there to take pic's and gather info on this rather confusing sport.Trev and Gio had their names mentioned in the local paper ,as a staff photographer was on hand to document the day and photograph any exciting spill's that were there. Rainman had the strangle hold on the most spill's of the day, when he stopped counting at 4 only because his other hand was full at the time with a throttle. I only had 2 close call's with both of them recorded on video(and NO you will never see them) you had to be there ! Troy & Geo I will get some of the pic's to you as soon as I get them, you may want to send me an email so I can send pic's to you firstname.lastname@example.org Over all I think Penticton will be a great venue as soon as we get the proper dencity of the dirt section mixed with some clay, and water it the night before using it. Thanks again to those who turned out,and hope to do it again real soon.
PS: Troy & Geo I have copy's of the newspaper for ya, Only thing is, I'm in the picture with Rainman in hot persuit.
