First ticket in 10+ years, of which I've been riding for 4+ years.
Rode up to Kelowna via the #3 this weekend with the GF on pillion, beautiful day (cool tho), came back Sunday via the 97C to Meritt and the 5A to Princeton (nice road) then the #3 back to Vancouver. Whilst nearing Hope in Manning Park encountered RCMP coming the other way, seems 135 in 90km is not good.
Luckly ticket marked down from excessive. Thank you. Cop and GF were good about...
So hard to do the limit. Manning is 2 lanes and worst yet I was lucky (cursed?!) to travel most of my trip sans clueless cagers clogging up the lanes. I guess I just got into a rhythm and started cruising at much too high a speed.
I almost feel pissed off getting busted at 45 over the limit. Crusing home on the #1 in solid traffic with Semis all about, I was doing 120 - 130km with the flow of traffic...
Watch it in Manning... The only cop I saw in the 1000km+ was the one that got me.
