So, I was driving my car the other day on Broadway (heading eastbound near VanTech Secondary). I'm in the far left lane, next to me, a middle aged lady in a dodge colt, and in the far right lane, 2 big, burly, hairy Harley riders wearing the skull cap helmets both in their full cruiser gear (jeans and tank tops) are in the far right lane side by side. The 2 riders have been racing from every stop for the last several blocks. These Harleys were LOUD as hell, so they're definitely noticeable even at cruising speeds.
Anyhow... So we're all sitting there at a red light at the light just before Nanaimo St. I look over and admire the chrome job on both bikes and expecting them to take off again on the green. So, I plug my ears and get ready for it. Then all of a sudden, the guy closest to the curb guns it down the street and leaves his buddy in his dust. Why? Because his stupid buddy was sitting there revving like crazy, hoping to gun it also...except the fool had it in neutral. So, he finally lays off on the throttle and looks around all foolish and red-faced and slowly cruises off a little quicker than the rest of us cagers. If only you could see how high the lady in the colt jumped when the dude revved up next to her. Has anyone here ever done this before?
