Do you own a really nice car, truck or motorcycle that you are proud of?*If you do then show it off at the Variety Show and Shine, a fundraiser for Variety*Club, taking place at Mission Raceway Park, June 5.
Car and truck owners and clubs from around the province are invited to participate in the show and shine, a fun day for the whole family with hundreds vehicles including super street, restored, street rod, lowrider, classic and vintage.
New this year,*the event features motorcycles in all shapes and sizes from sportbikes to cruisers. Trophy plaques will be awarded to the top two vehicles in all classes and for best in show. PyroWear will also be on-site with the latest in their line of bike gear.
Registration is only $10 per vehicle with all proceeds going to Variety.*The first 100 drivers to register will receive a PyroWear T-shirt with the Show and Shine logo, and the first 200 vehicles to register will receive a dash plaque.* Pre-register your vehicle for the best chance to get a T-Shirt and dash plaque.
Car club drags will be taking place on the track where you can check out some of the fastest rods around, including the Variety Car, a decked out 1971 Acadian Pro Class, as it rips up a quarter-mile in less than 11 seconds.* This car regularly races at Mission and around the province to help raise awareness for Variety Club.
Gates open at 9 a.m. and admission for spectators to the Show and Shine is free and includes entrance the car club drags.*There will also be a raffle and 50/50 draw, a silent auction and engine destroy draw.*All proceeds from the Variety Show & Shine*go to help B.C.’s kids who have special needs.
