Since the gas price is ridiculously high right now, I am thinking about only having about half a tank of gas most of the time. Would half a tank of gas save me much money over a yearr in gas consumption by the extra weight it loss? I have a 70litre tank.
You gotta lean into it!
A liter of gasoline weighs around 1.6 pounds (just Googled that) so 35 liters would be a bit more than 50 pounds. That's about as far as I can get... no idea how you would find out how fuel you'd save with 50 pounds less in your vehicle.
One question is... is taking the time to fill up at the gas station twice as often worth that difference?
What we play is life.
That's what I was thinking. Here's an article on Fuel-Saving Tips
