Would appreciate any tips....
basically... 23 bucks for parking in c lot for semester (so ud enter school by that renessaince coffee place)... or 50 for underground parking in WMX (further walk to science classes, but more secure cuz theres an attendant nearby)... i think theres still a lotta parking spots left (i park in wmx) but as the summer goes on im pretty sure its gonna fill up as more and more people insure or buy bikes... i went for the WMX parking cuz its safer, outta the rain, and cheaper than car parking anywayz... i got jacked though cuz u gotta pay all ur parkin tickets from last semester when u get ur pass so dont forget to add those in if u got any ... p.s. therez a way to sneak in to wmx for free and park if u want, so PM me if u want details
not much....at the bby campus, i try to park near my classes. Either visitor parking near westmall (not underground) or outside near the RCB. They were almost right infront of my classes last sem, but only have classes in harbour this summer sem so still dont know where to park either....
ninjagirl - I showed you how to sneak in/out last year...does that not work anymore?
mistake - send a PM to Sewman, he works at the SFU bookstore at Harbour Center and showed me where to park down there for free. He'll do a better job of describing it, so I won't bother...
BCSB - I hate you
2 years ago...not sure if it still worked...just checking...Originally Posted by Harps
will pm sewman...tks!
Nope Bby campus, over the summer...i'll try WMX.
i thought about the sneaking in and out method... id be the first person to do that kinda ish... but then im like what if my bike gets stolen or sumthing, those security guys aint gonna be too happy or helpful in the aftermath if they find out u didnt even have a permit to be there right... 50 bucks aint too much to pay for a lil peace of mind in my opinion
Yeah, you can still sneak in and out of WMX but i didn't see the security dude and got busted. Anyways C lot passes are only $23 and it's closer to the AQ if you have science classes.
Simonr i'm still up for riding (anybody else for that matter).I'm off at 12:30 M,W,R,F and wouldn't mind hitting up the fine city of squamton or there is two short, fun roads behind white pine. PM me if interested.
yea i wouldn't mind going for a rip on friday........where are some good places to go around sfu?
friday would be good for me too (as long as there is no rain). Not to sure whats good right around sfu, as i'm from north delta, but i'm down for going where ever. Any way post where you want to meet and i'll get back to you tomorrow or later tonight.
Hey man...Thanks a lot!Originally Posted by Harps
Oh sheyatt, Harps - your going to have all these random SFU students PM'ing me.
Okay, I'll tell you guys where to park as long as you don't park there and steal my favourite spot cuz there ain't many. Right now I've got it good with this other chap who owns an early 80's Suzuki 400. If you're a HC student you can go into the underground impark parking underneath Harbour Centre. Once you go down the ramp, take a left that takes you deeper underground and also towards the loading dock(you'll almost run right into it after you turn left). The loading dock is SFU property so Impark cannot ticket you for parking there. The loading dock manager Robin directs the traffic but don't drop my name because I don't want to be the one responsible for crowding up the poor guy's dock.
The space between the big huge pillars are available but often filled up by bikes. The big trucks might park close to your bike but they don't ever need that space between the pillars to do their unloading.
If that don't work I think there's cheap parking up the block at BCIT.
I love my squared off tyres. Torque rules.
thank you so much man...i just started summer school at hc and its been a killer always looking outside to see if ur bike is still parked well or someone has knocked it over or whatever...thanks again!
WMX has the best parking !! $43 isn't much compare to UBC parking,Originally Posted by NINJA GIRL
and C lot's too far away from AQ
in SFU you see bikes come and go but you never really meet any of them
what do you say let's all go for a rip !!
