    Joey Dunlop memorial vandalized

This just makes me sick. Let's hope payback/justice is swift and severe on the scum that did this:

That's really too bad, people have no respect for the "greats". I do really miss watching him race, isn't it Isle of Man right now?
    How's YOUR split time?

That's really sad. I have a picture of him racing in my photo album from the first time I went to the TT. That was such a great time. He also had a reputation for being extremely modest, and did so much charitable work too. I heard he drove his van all the way to Bosnia or somewhere like that to deliver clothes and blankets to the children there. He was so much more than a good rider, he was a role model for what humanity stands for.
Every day I break my previous record of consecutive days still alive.

It's a sad comment on modern humanity that this was probably done by some small group of no name, no life jerks just so they could see all the stories and gloat to each other about the ruckus they caused. I seriously doubt it was intended as a slight to Dunlop's name or memory and in fact it would not surprise me if they did not even know who's memorial it was. All they knew was that it was an important place in the community and therefor it would garner them the most attention for their mindless violence.

    Sad in every respect.
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.

It's sad that people do stuff like that. Show some respect. Even low life scum should know that.

Here there are...what a career. A big as he "is", his ego always remained in check, that's why he's the people's champion.

Wonder if the punks who destroyed it even knew who Joey Dunlop was.

As a side note, saw Dat and the newbies cruising by Metrotown tonight.

I don't normally have an opinion on stuff like this.
But this is my favourite person that has anything to do with motorcycles. I was at the 2000 TT races in IOM and the guy is a superhero. May he rest in peace even though there's some bitch that tried to ruin his legacy.
