Well I am shocked to see THIS THREAD dropping to page 3 of the listings. And only 29 posts and 650 viewings. And most of THOSE are from the folks that were there.
Bill's success at arranging for these sessions is the biggest and hottest item to hit the lower mainland in some time. All you guys that talk about wanting to learn what you can do with your bike and learn more about stopping and cornering just to raise your skill level should be jumping all over this! ! ! Where are all the ART course graduates? THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU! ! !
An evening on a course like this is easily worth at least 10 trips up the S2S parking lot. or at least a 1/2 dozen tours around the loop. No where in the lower mainland can you actually ride at YOUR limit with such a degree of safety and control over your environment and with such a low commitment in preparation or gear.
If you are afraid of the risk of dumping it's should not be an issue. There was more than one guy out there riding at a sedate pace just trying to learn to creep up on his limits and that is what this is all about. With a few more riders there will be two groups. A slow set for those learning their limits and then a faster group for the idiots like me, Gixxer, Troy, Harps, Jayson and the other guys with numbers on their bikes. If there's intrest we can even arrange for the first slow group session to be led in a couple of staggered groups by track types to pace you guys up slowly. It won't be as comprehensive as Troy's ART course by any means but you won't be tossed to the wolves if you don't want to be.
So no excuses. Get your asses out there or for ever after be considered one of the Starbucks crowd.... And be sure to exercise your smile muscles. You'll need 'em.
Bill needs to see some numbers SOON. If he doesn't then he'll have to cancel this. So don't wait or there won't be any.
