a disaster! Great morning, couldn't have asked for better weather. Got to ambleside met with great guys and had a very fast paced ride to squamish. There met some other guys and to make a long story short we decided to ride to whistler...where things almost got real ugly.
Going through a long sweeping left at about 160(i think...wasn't looking down) i passed a guy in the right lane, moved to left to avoid a car and back to the right lane so as not to bunch up with the other bikes. The turn folded back into a right when i got in the right lane and at the end of it i must of hit a pot hole or something of the sort because i got caught in a vecious front wobble at about 150kmh. It was the scariest thing ever!!!! I knew what was happening as soon as it happened and I was sure i was going down. I got real lucky...i immediatly hacked of the throttle(obvious ) and tried to ride it out and it finally stabilized at around 110kmh. It was so bad I was contemplating jumping off the bike before it went out of control into the mountain side.
Needless to say I had quiet a bad head ache by the time we got to whistler and the ride wasn't the same after that. It was such a horrifying experience I thought I'd share it and that way everyone can feel bad for me .
Ride safe....watch out for pot holes!!!!!!!
