I'm not complaining about my customers they have all been great
I went to another shop to get some parts and needed to talk to the owner who is a extremely busy guy . He had someone interested in a R1 . The customer took his jacket off at the desk stretched out and basically wasted an hour bullshitting about bikes . The owner then says OK head up stairs and are finance girl will help you out.
A few minutes later the guy comes running downstairs upset and cursing. Apparently she put a life insurance fee of around $800 on the loan ( standard practice ) and the customer freaked out . over the final price.
The owner asked him what was wrong and he was told to Fuck Off . He then chased the guy outside with the finance girl saying nothings written in stone the fee can be removed and they would throw in a bunch of extra goodies. Yet the customer stormed off .
I think the owner really bent over backwards . For that one hour the phone was ringing off the hook, employees were trying for his attention yet he stayed focused on the customer listening to his stories.Then when the customer was upset he tried every thing to help him out. I can't imagen how many sales he could have done in that hour.
I was thinking to myself why do people expect to be treated like Gods when
they are buying a bike . Why not show the same respect to the guy selling it?
