That's a great video to practice that " You go where you look " thing when going around corners. It felt like I was behind the handle bars of that bike.
Thanks for posting that.
That's the best 'on-bike' vid I've seen I reckon. Good vehicle seperation, clean and quick overtaking, good road positioning - I could ride with those guys.
And a cracking stretch of road, love those blind, off camber bends over the brows. We have many like that in the Shires over here but that one would be worth a long round trip to ride.
Couple of questions - the double yellows down the middle of the road - are they just the centre line? If we have an unbroken (white) line down the centre of the road it means 'no overtaking'.
And at 5min 47 secs he's sweeping left past a barn and there's a pair of tall masts in the background - any idea what they are for?
The solid double yellow lines mean no passing either way and it is the center line.Originally Posted by fastfitter
Those masts almost look like towers for some type of bungie ride. Don't know what it would be doing out there though.
That's a great video. The quality is surprisingly good, no vibration interference. Looks like a road that would be lots of fun to ride. Too bad you couldn't make out the speedo readings.
thats a nice road ...out of one turn into another ...looks like a great ride..
The towers are most likely cell phone / radio towers.
very cool video!! i enjoyed every bit of it. yeah, totally feels as though you're the one in the video, a la role play.
nice incorporation of rock + lil jon. woo-hoo!
I don't think the numbers come into it - that looked a nicely paced, safe ride. No panic braking, no taking chances passing what few cars there were - just smooth, quick progress.Originally Posted by Granny22
