I was in Parksville today(sunny/dry) travelling south. I was on my way to Spunky's about to turn right at the Chevron station. The light turned yellow, I was still going to turn until I saw a guy in a truck start to turn left from the opposite direction in front of me. I wasn't going that fast but when I braked(both brakes) my back end stepped out at least a foot. I managed to counter steer and stop with out going down, but it kind of spooked me a bit. The pavement is kind of dark looking there.
I mentioned this to a guy who works at Spunky's and he said that is one of the worst corners around. He said that in the rain even in a car it is dangerous and your tires will even spin. Just thought I'd mention it just to remind everyone to not let there gaurd down. It would have put a damper on a really good day and a great ride. Ride safe everyone!
