I have leather that I wear pretty much every day (although it's getting to be rather trying in the summer heat) and the pants include two pair of regular fit and thickness (but good quality) and I have another pair that are snug and thicker leather that are seemingly winter orientated.. think they would suffice for riding in?
I do have a couple pairs of boots, these
which are indeed orientated for riding a cruiser but would they be able to be worn for a sport bike? I thought it was questionable because a sport bike seems more petite and I'm not sure if the width of the boots would get in the way.
I also have a pair of these that are imported from Spain and are quite expensive for a every day boot.. I pretty much live in them, and they are much slimmer in width than my Harley boots and they go up to the knees. Would they be in much risk of being melted or really worn down fast? I'd hate to have to get another pair.. if I could afford them.
I also have some leather jackets but one is more of a blazer and the other is a 56" trench coat, both great quality but they probably wouldn't be that great for riding.. or better yet, they wouldn't hold up if I crashed. And would it be safe you think to wear a trench coat while riding or would there be too big of a risk of the tails getting caught in the wheels or some engine area? It may seem like an obvious answer but I wasn't sure.
Thanks for the input.
