Hi BC Sportbike,
This is an invitation for serious, experienced riders only. Not to discrimate against new riders, it's just that this will be a very challenging ride. Come with motorcycle wear only, please.
We're leaving the flying swan at 1724 W4th Ave at approx. 9:00am. We're headed to Kelowna. Here is the planned agenda:
Day 1, Saturday June 29 – 690km
This day of awesome riding starts from Flying Swan at 9am and it will end in Kelowna. The route goes North to Whistler, Lillooet, down South via Ashcroft to Merrit, and up again to Kamloops, and continue East, and just before Vernon we will take the famous Westside Highway around the Okanagan Lake to Kelowna for the night.
Day 2. Sunday June 30– 590km
The last day starts in Kelowna and heads back to Vancovuer. Again, the start is at 9am from the Starbucks at the Mall. First we will go to Pentiction where we will take a nice run via Green Mt. Road, then #3A to Keremeos and #3 to Princeton. From there we will take #5A to Merrit, lunch there, and #8 to Spences Bridge and up to Lillooet to take Duffey Lake, via Pemberton and Whistler back to Vancouver.
I don't think we can fit in Needles unless we stay another night. As it is planned, I have to back Monday to help at Mission. Anyways, gang, let me know if anyone is interested, like I said, we're serious riders, not new riders please, this course is too intense for new riders. Hope to see some of you out for the weekend.
