Had a little scare on the weekend.
I was behind Madkawi rounding a long sweeping corner that tightened up towards the end. I had my eye on the road ahead when Madkawi knocked his knee puck loose right in front of me. Thats when I lost my line.
Suddenenly I was fixated on him instead of the road and it put the fear of god into me. When I saw how 'over' Madkawi was I lost selfconfidence and became frightened loosing track of my line. I did the worst thing possible. I started squeezing the front brake and gently applying the rear. I managed to slow the bike down somewhat but crossed the line. I got back on track, wrestled with my fear remembering the post here about looking where your going and was able to continue on without any further problems. I was later able to discuss this with "Madman"and VTR Rider and they agreed re-enforcing my confidence
Just another shining example of how this site and the people I've met through BCSB's has helped me. Thanks to everyone here for posting your comments and sharing your knowledge
