hrm a linux bike just to log videos. cool, but not very practical.
lol, now all he needs is a HUD in his visor so he can edit his videos while he rips around canyon roads
Thats hilarious but no were near as affective as my friends setup in his car..
Has a touchscreen LCD built into the dash, decent size, 8inches... From there he has an entire p4 system built into the trunk and bolts on to the side of the speaker box.. From there he has the amplifier and deck custom wired to the computer.. On top of this he ran a microphone frmo the computer to the Abar (driver side 'tween door and windshield) thats about 12inches away from his face.. the best part of all this is he has it setup for voice activation.. For instance, say he wants to listen to one of the many songs on his computer? say "Linkin park" and it opens a folder of all there tunes.. then say the song name and voila! not to mention the voice activated "smart" gps... Tell the computer were u want to go and it gives u voice directions, and if your playing a song, it'll temporarly mute it to tell you to turn left, merge etc... its quite the interesting setup...
Well, that's all it does at the moment... but he plans to do a lot more with it...Originally Posted by audiophileNext I will have it log tracks from my Garmin GPS V, as well as power my iPod.
Eventually I'd like to find a way for it to interconnect with the ECU to do PowerCommander like work
